1.1“Ekadhammo, bhikkhave, bhāvito bahulīkato ekantanibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya upasamāya abhiññāya sambodhāya nibbānāya saṁvattati.

"One dhamma, bhikkhus, when developed and cultivated, leads to complete disenchantment, to dispassion, to cessation, to stilling, to direct knowledge, to enlightenment, to nibbāna.

What is that one dhamma?

1.3Buddhānussati.

Recollection of the Buddha.

1.4Ayaṁ kho, bhikkhave, ekadhammo bhāvito bahulīkato ekantanibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya upasamāya abhiññāya sambodhāya nibbānāya saṁvattatī”ti.

This, bhikkhus, is that one dhamma which, when developed and cultivated, leads to complete disenchantment, to dispassion, to cessation, to stilling, to direct knowledge, to enlightenment, to nibbāna."
